The RW has suspended cleaning operations for her sister’s visitation this weekend to embark on her new toy, a Nintendo DS, with brain training. The Dogs and cat, and I feel her brain is sharp enough, but together with her Wii Fit, she seems to have aspirations to go down the way rather than grow old gracefully.
However, the cleaning has not been forgotten. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, even the bishop’s visit doesn’t merit the sort of frenzied cleaning and redecoration that Sister Mary’s visit seems to have inspired. Luckily the window cleaner came today, so our visitor will be able to see out into the street, which is probably just as well. It will keep her occupied while the RW tries to get her brain age down to a more respectable figure.
Meanwhile the cat has brought a present in today for our expected visitor….. a baby rabbit, who will probably not last until tomorrow. However, the RW has put the little one into a cage with some greens and some water, in the vain hope of reviving it before letting it go back to the nearby cemetery, where it belongs, dead or alive!
