Christian Aid’s annual soup, bread and cheese lunches will be running every Thursday throughout March in Riverside church halls. St Augustine’s will be responsible for serving and providing soup on March 22nd.

The current Friday soup team do a brilliant job serving snack lunches to the masses each week. However they are always keen to have more willing volunteers who could give a hand. You don’t have to commit yourself to every single week. If you’d like to know more speak to Kenny or Maggie.
We welcome 2 new groups who have started using the halls in the last few weeks.
On a Tuesday evening there is a very successful girls group for those aged 11-14 who want to learn more about themselves, others and the wider community. The girls are taking part in a wide variety of activities from arts and crafts to makeovers to Zumba.
On Fridays the Dumbarton branch of Kinship Care is now using one of the meeting rooms. This organisation provides support for those acting as carers to children (such as family and friends) whose parents are unable to look after them.
Both groups are providing useful services to different parts of the community and its great to have them using our halls.
The February edition of the magazine will hopefully be ready for collection within the next few days.
We have a Parish Retreat arranged in Millport 23-25 March. We are pleased to announce that the cost of this has now gone down to £50, and £100 for a couple. Full Board is included in the cost.
It was pointed out at Vestry that the News Section of this Site is not regularly updated. My fault, (Kenny), and I shall endeavour to do better over the coming weeks until I can get someone else to do it for me!
